Windows has 41% market share among developers compared to 18.4% share for OS X, according to the Stack Overflow 2017 Developer Survey. I agree with Ujjwal Ojha that most of these Windows devs are probably from outside the U.S.

This is one case where I’m pretty happy to be in a bubble, the experience of developing on Windows is getting better, but still pretty painful.
