I might recommend React over Vuejs for solid JS dev teams with the patience and intellectual curiosity to dive into the React ecosystem, and the restraint and care to structure their apps well.

For devs new to JS, not the strongest at structuring a JS app, who just prefer using template languages, or who liked Angular 1, I’d recommend Vuejs.
