Here are some suggestions for solving the SO troll problem:

• To fight the point-wealth gap:
  - Points could expire after a period of time.
  - Up-votes on old answers should stop generating more points after a certain amount of time. I’m still getting lots of points for answers I posted in 2014, that’s silly.
• To fight perverse incentives:
  - Activities besides posting questions and answers shouldn’t generate points.
